The techniques I work with
The best effects are achieved on muted cream-colored paper. Leonardo da Vinci made sketches for "The Last Supper" using sanguine, charcoal, and white chalk.
Sanguine
watercolor
Watercolor is a complex technique. There is no way to correct the drawing once it's done. It is most commonly used in landscapes, light, subtle portraits, and similar works.
Dry pastel
With pastels, you can achieve absolutely any color and hue, allowing for a vast range of color possibilities.
It practically does not change colors over time. This technique allows the use of various materials: canvas, glass, wood, cardboard, and paper, as it has very high adhesion to any surface.
Oil paint
A drawing in this technique will have a shine. Pencil reflects light at an angle. A graphite portrait is a quick, affordable, and popular way to create a unique gift.

It allows for achieving effects of layering and depth in the image, and it also has no gloss under side lighting.
Charcoal
Crayons based on it create a greasy, brown line that is very difficult to erase or correct. Sepia must be worked with flawlessly from the start, as values cannot be lightened again.

Dry brush
It involves rubbing pigment with a nearly dry brush into the texture of the canvas or paper. This technique allows for a depiction of reality with photographic accuracy.

What is the waiting time?
How will I receive my order?
- The completion time depends on: format, complexity of the work, level of detail, number of additional elements, materials used, etc.
- Typically, it takes 5 to 7 business days for dry techniques and watercolors.
- Oil portrait/painting can take from 14 days to 2 months (due to the painting application process, drying time, and queue of other orders).
- Orders completed within 3 days or less are considered express and are charged an additional 50%.
- The order is considered in progress only after the deposit payment is confirmed (Art. 394 of the Civil Code).
- Works of small format without rigid elements (frames, stretchers, panels) are shipped via InPost parcel locker to the recipient's address or to a parcel locker.
- For larger formats and paintings with rigid elements, I send them via DPD courier.
Is international shipping available?
How can I make the payment?
- Yes, I ship internationally. The costs and other details are determined on an individual basis.
- You can make a payment for the artwork or pay a deposit using any method: BLIK to the phone number, bank transfer, PayPal, Revolut, or credit card.
Do you paint posed portraits?
Portrait of several people from different photos?
- Of course. However, this requires coming to me in Lublin. Secondly, if we are painting an oil portrait, you should expect several sessions of 2-3 hours each, with breaks between them ranging from a few to several days.
- Yes, of course. However, in this case, there are a few conditions regarding the photographic materials. Ideally, the light should come from the same side in all the photos, so that the painting does not give the impression of 'pasted faces.'
